The more you help, the earlier you shop! (see full schedule below for shopping times)

  • Volunteers who complete a total of 4 hours earn 70% on their sold items (as opposed to 60%)
  • Volunteers shop early at the exclusive Thursday Pre-Sale and Friday 50% Pre-Sale

*All volunteers must consign at least 15 items.

*No children allowed during volunteer shifts due to safety reasons.

*You must be able to stand for longer than 4 hours, lift 20-35 lbs without concern of any medical conditions or injuries that may be affected and must commit to the full shift.

  • Breakdown is a critical time to get the unsold items sorted - before consignors come to pick up, so we need LOTS of help. Anyone who works one 7 hour breakdown shift earns a 12 hour presale pass AND your consignor fee is waived!


DROP OFF (before the sale)

WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 28  |  1pm - 7 pm                

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 29     |   9am - 12pm (by appointment only)

Here's how it works:

  1. Prep, price and organize your stuff at home. 
  2. Bring your items sorted by type and clothing size.
  3. Bring your signed Consignor Agreement, Car Seat Checklist, & Crib Waiver (if applicable)
  4. ​Unload your items through the doors at the front of the Event Center, move and park your car, and then place all of your items where they belong on the sales floor. (Inspection happens DURING and AFTER drop off)
  5. Watch your sales grow with our real-time updates in your account. $$$$

Please plan on 30-90 minutes for drop off, depending on how many items you are selling.



EXPRESS DROP OFF If you're in a hurry, we can help. You simply unload your vehicle and we do the rest. The cost for this service is $10 per 100 items.

MEGA CONSIGNORS If you have over 300 items or large furniture, please contact an event coordinator so we can plan the space accordingly: joyperez@jbfsale.com

PICK UP (after the sale)

SUNDAY, DECEMBER 2  |  5 - 7 pm

  • If you marked DONATE on your items, those will be pulled and donated on your behalf and you do NOT need to pick up.


  • If you have any unsold items you will need to attend PICK UP to claim them. Items will be sorted by Consignor # for your convenience.

All items that are not picked up are donated to our charity partner by 7:01PM. Sorry, we cannot make exceptions due to limited time at the venue, so please be on time or plan in advance for someone to pick up your items for you and note this at drop off.

At JBF Austin Central, we have a  "$3.00 Minimum Rule" on clothing.
If your single, hanging clothing item is not of a $3.00 value on its own, please pair it with something that will bring the total for the items to at least this amount. You can pair two onesies together, for example.
REMEMBER: Price to Sell! Generally that means 1/3 of the original retail price. Brand names and designer do well at JBF!


Tags MUST be in the upper right of all clothing items for easy shopping.
Attach tag with a safety pin to the upper right pocket area of the shirt or upper right front of pants.
Punch a hole at the top of the tag to make it easier to slide the safety pin through.

*If you use a tagging gun please insert the gun in a tag/label or inside seam NOT through part of the clothing (to avoid making a hole or tear in the clothing). Also, pull on the tag to make sure it is properly secured and will not come off easily. 


Please use ANY SIZE wire or plastic hangers.
If you are having trouble finding hangers ask co-workers, neighbors and friends for their dry cleaning hangers. Old Navy will often provide FREE hangers if you ask, as well as some dry cleaners you frequent.

Remember to safety pin garments to the top part of the hanger so the garment will not slide.

Please have your clothes sorted by size and gender. This will make drop off easier and faster for you.


We will accept nursery & children's room furniture. Sorry we will no longer accept household décor – only children’s room decor. Furniture sells really well. All kinds of children's and juvenile furniture will be accepted. To keep our reputation of 'only the best', JBF asks that you be very selective about the quality of your furniture. All furniture must be intact and sturdy.


Loose Items like blankets, bibs, cloth diapers, bottles, small toys, bows, socks, etc. must be in clear Ziploc bags with the tag attached to the inside or outside of the bag.
Blankets and Snugis sell better if they are hung over a pant hanger. Be sure to put a safety pin on them so they don't fall off the hanger. Use clear packing tape for securing the bags closed. This prevents 'little' hands from reaching in.


Must be in excellent condition and not out of date. All Season of maternity clothing will be allowed at our sales. Please do not bring out-dated maternity clothes. They just will not sell - especially in Austin with our fashion savvy moms!

  1. Please secure the tops with safety pins if they have a tendency to fall off the hanger.
  2. Breastfeeding tops are accepted with maternity clothing.
  3. Other Maternity Items: belly bands, breast pumps, pregnancy books, etc. sell very well.


Please be aware of our goal....to be the BEST in the consignment business. 

  • Shoes with dirt or mud can not be accepted.
  • Must be tied in pairs by shoelaces or put the shoes in a clear baggie. Laces and shoes must be in excellent condition.
  • Attach a tag with a large safety pin to the laces or tape the tag on the bottom of the shoes or the bag.
  • Be PICKY on shoes! Would you buy a worn out pair?
  • For shoes with no laces, put them together in a Ziploc bag with the tag taped to the outside of the bag. Tape the bag closed with heavy packing tape.


All toys must be in working order, BATTERIES INCLUDED.

  • Make sure to clean them before drop off.
  • Small parts should be bagged and taped to the main part very securely. Use HEAVY packing tape. If parts get separated, it will not sell.
  • Games and puzzles should have all pieces and be tied or taped closed.
  • Several small items can be grouped together in Ziploc bags (books, rattles, grab bags for small toys).
  • We will ONLY accept stuffed animals that are LIKE NEW! No other stuffed animals will be accepted.
  • Again, you MUST secure Ziploc bags with packing tape so that pieces do not get lost!

Large toys and outdoor play equipment must be clean, free of dirt and or water.

  • Mr. Clean Magic Erasers work well on these items.
  • Must include all pieces.
  • Name brands sell great at JBF!


Infant equipment includes car seats, strollers, high chairs, swings, exersaucers, bouncy seats, boppies, play gyms, pack & plays and bassinets.


  • Car seats cannot be older than 6 years old and must have the owner’s manual. This is a federal requirement and you will need to have two carseat waivers filled out upon drop off.

Consignor Shopping Schedule


12 pm - 7 pm:  Team Leaders + VIP Taggers

1 pm - 7 pm:   12 Hour Volunteer

2 pm - 7 pm:    8 Hour Volunteer

3 pm - 7 pm:    4 Hour Vounteer

4 pm - 7 pm:    Consignors + one guest

5 pm - 7 pm:    First-time moms / grandparents, teachers, nurses, military personnel, and foster parents

Event closes promptly at 7PM.

IMPORTANT For safety purposes, no children, strollers or wagons allowed at any PRESALE aside from infants carried by you or in a sling / carrier.

The 1/2 price pre-sale is only for Consignors and Volunteers, plus their *1* favorite person. To be fair, there are no carryovers allowed from our full price sale. (i.e., no items may be placed on hold or stashed for purchase)

Got the STUFF, but don't have the TIME to tag?!  We designed our VIP Consigning Service with you in mind.

There's minimal prep work involved AND no upfront costs.

We'll connect you with a VIP Tagger and you'll work directly with her through the process of getting your items prepped and tagged for the event.


  1. Must be selling a variety of items - clothing, shoes, toys, gear and baby equipment
  2. Must have a minimum of 100 items
  3. Items must be clean, ready to sell and sorted by type & clothing size

  • Children: Children & strollers are welcome during public sale days on Friday & Saturday. Only infants under the age of 1 who are carried or worn will be allowed at any presale. Sorry, no children allowed while you are helping at the sale. 
  • Strollers, wagons, and infant carrier car seats are not allowed during Pre-Sale on Thursday.
  • We will have complimentary bags for you to use while you shop and you will have the option to buy a reusable JBF bag to carry your items out for $5 per bag. It is recommended to bring a laundry basket or shopping bag for your purchases so we can reduce bag use!
  • Shop til you drop: We will have a hold area for full bags so you don't have to carry them.  Large items can be purchased by pulling off the bottom part of the yellow claim ticket and taking it to the register.  If the bottom part is already removd, then you can assume it has been purchased.
  • Forms of Payment: We accept cash or credit card; Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and AMEX. Sorry, no checks or money orders are accepted.
